Orphan files are files and folders that exist on the Target but do not exist on the Source.
If a backup session is done with all orphan files being deleted on the Target, then we can say that the Source is synchronized to the Target. Meaning that all files and folders on the Source are equal to all Target files and folders.
Synchronizing different disk drives can be done by applying the Delete Option.
